Shat-R-Shield Ironclad RZ Slim LED Exit Sign

The Shat-R-Shield Ironclad RZ is an ultra-slim LED exit sign designed for low-profile installation in correctional and institutional facilities. Its 5/8-inch die-cast aluminum housing uses just 2 watts and can be wall-, canopy- or pendant-mounted, with an optional polycarbonate security cover for vandal-resistant applications.

LED Exit Lighting for Correctional & Institutional Facilities

The Ironclad RZ combines a low-profile 5/8-inch housing with flexible mounting and energy-efficient LED illumination for facilities where a less obtrusive exit sign is preferred. Wall, canopy and pendant mounting options allow the RZ to be adapted to a variety of corridors, common areas and other egress locations.

For correctional, detention and other applications where additional protection is required, an optional polycarbonate security cover provides added resistance to vandalism and impact. The RZ is available with red or green illumination, single- or double-face configurations, battery backup and a range of self-test, diagnostic and emergency-control options.

The RZ consumes just 2 watts in standard AC configurations and provides 18fL illumination, which is 7 times the minimum UL 924 requirement at a 100-foot viewing distance.
