Paulson CS-5 Heavy Duty Cell Extraction Shield - 20"x36"

The Paulson CS-5 is a handheld capture shield with a formed radius & ergonomic features, designed for cell extraction. The foam pad on the concave surface provides additional holding friction.  Strong double handles allow a firm grip under various conditions. The shield has superior optical quality and workmanship. Paulson handheld capture shields are unique in that the design allows two people to grip with both hands on each handle when extra holding power is needed. The handles are dielectric to prevent electrical pass through.

* Capture shields, also called cell extraction shields, are designed for use in a correctional or institutional setting. Cell extraction shields or capture shields feature a concave curve, meaning they curve away from the shield holder.  This feature assists during cell extraction, as the officer can use the capture shield to restrain an unruly inmate against a wall or floor of a cell.
