The clear polycarbonate face shield is now 5mm thick – double the thickness of the DH1’s visor for substantially greater impact strength – and angled away from the face, providing the added clearance needed to wear a gas mask or respirator underneath. No more choosing between face protection and respiratory protection. The visor locks into three positions – fully raised, intermediate, and locked down – via a simple pull-pin adjustment, a faster and more secure system than traditional thumb knobs.
